Young Ha Pak studied piano at the age of five. She started building her experience during middle school by participating in the orchestra team as a keyboard player – she was chosen as the instrumentalist of the year. Young was also a member of the Opera California Youth Choir for her entire middle and high school years. She was appointed as the accompanist of the choir at the age of 13 and performed in various concerts and yearly musical performances. Young attended Hamilton Music Academy. At the start of ninth grade, she was already entered in the upper levels of the piano classes. She has participated in numerous concerts and recitals held at the school and received scholarships for college.
Sensei Young studied at California State University of Northridge as a classical piano performance major with professor Francoise Regnat. She started teaching at the age of 18 and has more than ten years of teaching experience. She is extremely passionate about teaching due to the great deal of joy she feels when students choose to accomplish a goal, improve incredibly, and have fun! Sensei Young is looking forward to meeting new students and feels excited to be a part of the Suzuki Academy of LA.
